Florian Wirtz has kicked off his season in style, netting his first competitive goal since joining the Anfield ranks.

But the German playmaker scored his country's third goal in a 3-1 triumph over Northern Ireland, helping Julian Nagelsmann's players recover from their previous defeat in Slovakia.
Serge Gnabry and Nadiem Amiri had found the back of the net on either side of Isaac Price's equalizer for the visitors before Wirtz took charge of a free-kick with just 18 minutes left on the clock.
