Liverpool fans react to Arne Slot's bold team selection against Everton

Milos Kerkez getting the start over Andy Robertson is also notable, with the Reds' vice-captain earning his spot back for the Champions League game while having impressed in their last two outings.

However, he comes back into the game - where he'll come up against Everton's premiere attacking threat in Iliman Ndiaye.

The Reds has been less than convincing in all of their games, despite winning all of them, being reliant on last-minute goals in all of their wins.

The likes of Wirtz, Isak, Frimpong and perhaps Roberton and the emerging Rio Ngumoha will be relied upon to come off-the-bench should the Reds find themselves in a position where they're looking for another winning goal.

While all will point to both Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak being benched, they are both understandable decisions with the German's slower start to the season and their new number nine just joining the team
