Liverpool fans have reacted to the "distressing" sight of a car driving into fans during the club's trophy parade.
Emergency services have attended the scene after the vehicle was said to have hit a number of supporters in the city centre.
Merseyside Police have since released a statement confirming they were dealing with the incident and a man had been detained.
People in the city have been reacting to the shocking development, that followed a day of celebration in the city.

@brookefulstow wrote on X: "Very distressing to witness a car ramming the crowd on Water Street after the Liverpool Parade.
I'm praying."
Talking to Sky News, Chelsea Ewan said: "We were like sardines walking up the street, we heard a lot of beeping and screaming and when we looked up there was a black people carrier driving straight towards us.
Me and my friend pulled her little girl out of the way."
During the day, the scenes in the city centre were joyous, as thousands of supporters lined the streets to cheer on the first-team squad.
With the parade over, the majority of fans were walking on the streets when the incident took place.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has also reacted to the news, saying: “The scenes in Liverpool are appalling — my thoughts are with all those injured or affected.
“I want to thank the police and emergency services for their swift and ongoing response to this shocking incident.
