Liverpool’s season ended on Sunday as the Reds finally got their hands on the Premier League trophy.
It was not the best performance from Liverpool against Crystal Palace, but that did not matter one bit.
Once the final whistle had gone on the 1-1 draw, the Reds entered party mode.
Just like the scenes following the win at Tottenham Hotspur, it was special at Anfield.
And after Virgil van Dijk lifted the trophy and passed it around the Liverpool squad, the group got to celebrating in front of the Kop.
While all eyes were on the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold and the reaction he would get from fans, it’s highly likely that the right-back was not the only player making his final appearance for Liverpool.
One who could be on his way out is Federico Chiesa, who was once again left out of the matchday squad on Sunday.
But as the celebrations continued at Anfield, the Liverpool supporters showed that they are desperate for Chiesa to stay.

Chiesa is an ‘unbelievable’ player on his day but has had a really tricky season at Liverpool.
With the curtain having now come down on the 2024/25 campaign, the former Juventus man started only one Premier League game.

Nevertheless, Chiesa has become a firm fan favourite despite his lack of playing time.
Liverpool supporters created a ‘belting’ song for Chiesa recently and when the slightly reluctant 27-year-old was passed the Premier League trophy in front of the Kop, it was given an almighty rendition.

Chiesa initially looked keen to pass the trophy to someone else as quickly as possible, but, egged on by Harvey Elliott, he hoisted the silverware several more times.
Then, a magic moment, as the Kop burst into an impromptu rendition of the Chiesa song.
The whole Liverpool squad then piled in, bouncing around as supporters sang their hearts out.
With Chiesa holding the trophy with a big smile on his face, it was clear that fans do not want him to go anywhere.
While Liverpool fans clearly love Chiesa and really want to see him given a proper chance at the club, the direction of travel remains that the Italy international will go this summer.
Jamie Carragher certainly seems to think so, claiming live on Sky Sports after the match that Slot does not appear to trust Chiesa.
“I think he’ll be remembered more for the song and not the football!” joked Carragher.
It will be interesting to see if he’s still at the club next season.”
It may be more likely that Chiesa leaves for the moment, but fans certainly sent out a message that they’d love to see him stay.
