Liverpool is seeking to strengthen their grip on the Premier League following Arne Slot’s triumphant debut campaign that delivered the club’s 20th league title.
In stark contrast to the previous summer’s cautious approach, which yielded just Federico Chiesa as the sole major acquisition, the Reds have embarked on an unprecedented spending spree this transfer window.
The champions have already secured eight new signings, with their total outlay approaching £280 million following the marquee arrivals of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and Hugo Ekitike.
Liverpool is looking to make at least two more additions, with Alexander Isak heavily linked.
While the men’s first team continues to strengthen, the women’s team is following suit via a new contract extension.
Liverpool FC Women have officially announced the contract extension of forward Mia Enderby.

The 20-year-old striker, who joined Liverpool from Sheffield United in the summer of 2023, has penned fresh terms that will see her continue her development at Anfield for the foreseeable future.
Since arriving on Merseyside, Enderby has made 42 appearances and scored six goals.
The Yorkshire-born forward began her senior career with Sheffield United as a 16-year-old, where she quickly made her mark by winning the club’s Young Player of the Season award in her debut campaign.
Her performances in the Women’s Championship caught the attention of Liverpool scouts, leading to her move to the top flight.
She told Liverpoolfc.com at the AXA Melwood Training Centre: “I’ve been here for a couple of years now and I just can’t wait to get started [in 2025-26].
Pre-season is going well and we just can’t wait to get going.
“Off the pitch we’re a big family.
We just can’t wait to get started now.”
“I feel like at first it was hard, coming in as a young player and with how big the WSL is now?
I feel like I try my best.
“When I’m coming off the bench, I try to help the team as much as I can – and that’s providing goals and assists.”
