One of Liverpool's youngsters has caught the eye of both Arne Slot and Virgil van Dijk
Liverpool forward Kaide Gordon has wished Portsmouth all the best for the future after his loan deal with the Championship outfit came to an end.
The 20-year-old made the move to Fratton Park in January after a difficult spell at Norwich City.
In total, Gordon made five appearances for Pompey and helped them secure a 16th-place finish in their first season back in the second tier since the 2011/12 campaign.
And following the conclusion of the Championship season on Saturday afternoon, the England international has left John Mousinho's and will return to Liverpool at the start of July when Arne Slot's side begins pre-season training.

"Thank you to everyone at Portsmouth," wrote Gordon.
"All the best for the future."
Gordon joined Liverpool from Derby County in February 2021 after becoming the fourth-youngest player in the Rams' history.
Later that year, Gordon made his first appearance for the Reds in a League Cup tie at Norwich City.
And less than six months after his maiden appearance for the Reds, Gordon bagged his first goal for the club in a 4-1 victory over Shrewsbury Town.
But since then, the forward's progress at Anfield has been plagued by several long-term injury issues, which resulted in him missing practically all of the 2023/24 season.
Gordon was handed a first real taste of senior football in August when he joined Norwich City on a season-long loan.
