Arne Slot says Liverpool's early clinching of the Premier League title affords them more time to plan for the summer, revealing he can now hold more in-depth chats with sporting director Richard Hughes about the upcoming transfer window.
And the Reds boss believes Sunday's famous scenes at Anfield when the club were confirmed as Premier League winners after the 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur can act as a way of enticing targets to choose them over rivals.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bournemouth duo Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, whose reported £50m release clause also has a string of Premier League clubs assessing his suitability, while the Reds have been speculatively credited with an interest in Newcastle United's Alexander Isak.

Meanwhile goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will arrive in a £29m deal from Valencia later this year and the Reds might have to source a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is wanted by Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Slot has previously been coy about how much work will be done this summer transfer window but the Dutchman believes Liverpool's status as champions, coupled with the recent new deals for Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, makes them an attractive proposition for players they want to sign.
"Yeah [being champions helps], but it's also a perfect package to stay motivated ourselves, because to experience this once is really nice, but we would love to experience it one more time," Slot said.

"So we know why we do things now, because to experience this has been probably special for you guys, it's been special for all the fans, but it's definitely been special for the players and for us as well.
So we know the [reason] why now, if we start next season, what we do it for.
"But it definitely helps, I think, to attract new players as well, because mostly the players that we want to have, we are not the only clubs who think they are good players, so these players have probably more options.
"And then it helps maybe for them to see that the way we do things over here is special, I think you can say that."

Slot, whose newly-crowned champions travel to Chelsea on Sunday, added: "In the background, of course I did [plan for next season] already a little bit, because it's not like after we won the league, that's the first time Richard called me and said: 'OK, these are the players we are interested in!'
"That would be a bit weird if that happened over there.
So the players will be prepared in the same way as they've been prepared for all the other games we've played."
