Julian Nagelsmann is expected to take over as the new manager of Germany, putting an end to speculation that Jürgen Klopp could leave Liverpool for the job. The vacancy arose after Hansi Flick was sacked following a friendly defeat to Japan during the recent international break. Despite rumors linking Klopp to the position, the 56-year-old's agent previously clarified that he is not available for the national coaching role due to his long-term contract at Anfield.
German outlet has revealed that the 36-year-old will receive a salary of approximately $4.3m (£3.5m/€4m) up until the Euros after accepting the offer.
The appointment of Nagelsmann as Germany's manager brings an end to any speculation surrounding Klopp's potential departure from Liverpool.
Klopp's agent previously said: "Jürgen has a long-term contract with LFC and is not available for the national coaching position." Klopp said in the summer: "The job of national coach is and would be a great honor — there's no question about that.
