Liverpool have stepped up their chase for Marc Guehi on the eve of a new Premier League season, opening talks with Crystal Palace for a transfer.

He has one year left on his contract, and has made no indication that he wants to remain there with the Premier League's top clubs circling.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, saving members £192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 more.

On our Facebook page, Svetoslav Sitev says: "That's what I am talking about, Marc Guehi is a top established defender to challenge Virgil and Konate.

That's what we need."

Gary Kidson writes: "If we get Guehi, Leoni and Isak this has to be the greatest transfer window in the history of the Premier League!"

Tony Daly says: "This lad is 24, has captained a Prem club over 100 times, is a regular England international and will cost less than £40m.
