Liverpool may have just been given some fresh encouragement that a move for Alexander Isak may still be possible.
The Reds have been heavily linked with signing the Sweden international for several weeks as they look to bring in a new forward.
It was earlier this month that Liverpool saw a £110million bid for Isak rejected by Newcastle.
The ECHO have reported that the Reds currently have no plans to make a second offer as things stand, unless they are given encouragement that the Magpies could drop their reported £150million asking price.
This stance has still not stopped speculation that Liverpool may still look to sign Isak before the September 1 deadline.
The rumours have been intensified by Newcastle being linked with several potential new forwards, and now a new name has emerged on the rumour mill.

The Athletic are reporting that Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has emerged as a target for the Magpies.
While Strand Larsen is not thought to be pushing for a move away from Molineux, it has been claimed that the player would be keen to move to St James' Park if given the opportunity.
Strand Larsen is the latest name mentioned as a potential target for Newcastle.
If the Magpies were to go on to sign the Norway international, it could help create the conditions that would allow Isak to leave.

Various reports have claimed that Newcastle would then need to sign another striker - as well as Strand Larsen - before considering letting Isak depart.
