Thomas Frank has attempted to ward Liverpool away from Bryan Mbeumo by claiming his asking price would be “pretty high”.

The Cameroon international has enjoyed a sensational season for Brentford this term.

He has scored 18 goals and provided six assists in the Premier League alone and that has seen clubs sit up and take notice.



“But, as you know, he’s very happy here at Brentford!”

Frank doubled down on his claim in an further interview with Sky Sports - but notably did not rule out selling Mbeumo entirely.

"I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford, he's thriving, doing well and playing fantastic.

And Frank has backed him to reach the 20-goal landmark for the campaign over the closing weeks.
