Liverpool will be keeping a close track of Florian Wirtz during the international break(Image: Carl Recine/Getty Images)Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann has warned that he will 'show no leniency' towards Liverpool star Florian Wirtz and won't rest him over the international break.
He was substituted off in the Community Shield vs Crystal Palace plus the two opening Premier League fixtures against Bournemouth then Newcastle United.
The 22-year-old look set to complete his first full 90 minutes during the 1-0 home win over Arsenal, however had to be removed in the 89th minute as he limped off with the help of the club's physios.

Afterwards head coach Slot clarified: "It wasn’t an injury.
That’s what happened.
"That is welcome to the Premier League, welcome to this intensity against an Arsenal side who can play very intense as well."
Wirtz has since joined up with the German national team for the September break and despite his intense start to life with his new club, his Germany coach Nagelsmann plans to use his talisman to the full extent.
"I will show no leniency.
He is one of our most important players – he should perform, and he will," the Germany boss said at his press conference ahead of tonight's FIFA World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
So far Wirtz has managed only one goal contribution in his four Liverpool appearances - an assist in the Community Shield.
It’s normal that you need a bit of time at a new club.
"New culture, new league, new stadium – that’s completely normal." The 38-year-old concluded with the prediction: "He will have great games, score great goals, and set up great goals [for Liverpool]."
All Slot can hope is that his summer recruit comes back with a clean bill of health.
