Liverpool has two players at risk of two-game suspension as Jurgen Klopp requirement clear

Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold are nearing returns from their injuries but Jürgen Klopp can barely afford — given that the Premier League title is at stake — to have to deal with many more issues after a campaign that has been littered with medical problems.

You can make the argument that Liverpool has statistically the easiest of the run-ins— largely thanks to the influence of the Champions League, where Arsenal has Bayern Munich and Manchester City will play Real Madrid over two legs — but there is little room for error.

One could easily be injuries and suspensions, and while you can do nothing about the fortunes of your players avoiding the treatment table, they can try and get away without picking up a booking.

If Rodri receives two yellow cards in the next three Manchester City games in the Premier League, he will be suspended for two fixtures after the second one.

There are two players in the same situation for Liverpool, though.

Both Wataru End? and Darwin Núñez need to avoid picking up a yellow card in two of the Reds' matches against Sheffield United, Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal only has Kai Havertz who could reach 10 bookings and that would require him to pick up three yellows in the Gunners' next three fixtures.

Liverpool.com says: If Liverpool was to lose either End? or Núñez for two games, that would be far from ideal.

End? is not in the Reds' best midfield when everyone is fit (Alexis Mac Allister could play as the number six with Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones on either side of him).

Meanwhile, Núñez is a big player for Liverpool but there are four other senior attackers that Klopp can call upon.

Neither will want to miss out and it would be a blow if they were to be out, but it wouldn't be as big an issue as Manchester City being without Rodri.
