Liverpool target Alexander Isak wishes to explore a summer transfer according to the latest news coming out of Newcastle.
The latest to arrive is Hugo Ekitike, a forward signed for a fee which could rise to £79m from Eintracht Frankfurt to elevate the club's transfer bill close to £300m with over one month of the window left.
In that time Liverpool are set to contemplate their position on long-standing target Isak - who as allegedly informed his club of his wish for his next challenge - even if they now already have one striker through the door.

As the ECHO reported, they are still in the market for attacking reinforcements and it is difficult to ignore a player of Isak's calibre.
That is a large sum for any club, let alone one that has spent as much as they have already in one window with one of their deals already completed setting the new British transfer record at £116m.
But in Isak's case, Reds legend Carragher as previously given his seal of approval for such a lucrative move.

"Alexander, I absolutely adore you," the Sky Sports pundit directly told Newcastle's No.14 after he scored in his side's brutal dismantling of Manchester United at Old Trafford last December.
"I think you're a fantastic player and if I had £150m, I'd pay it to have you at any club."
That night Isak put the visiting Magpies into a fourth-minute lead against Liverpool's arch rivals.
It began with his part played in the build-up play entering enemy territory before the ball eventually came to full-back Lewis Hall, whose cross was perfect for the striker to head past Andre Onana from close range.
Joelinton would put Eddie How's team two goals to the good with less than 20 minutes played and Isak would generally act as a great nuisance to United for the remainder, even if he did not add to his tally.
His header at Old Trafford was one of 23 in the Premier League last term, finishing second in the golden boot race to Mohamed Salah.
That marked his greatest return in an individual English top-flight campaign.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle striker Michael Owen is another player-turned-pundit who has raved about Isak's qualities recently as he suggested the Magpies selling him is unthinkable.

In March, Owen said: "I mean, I hear what you’re saying about not balancing the books… But what?
Like, then they can get £150m for him and then go spend £100m or £120m on, you know, three £30m players or four £30m players.
"You know, you prefer Isak.
