Rio Ngumoha signed for Liverpool from Chelsea in September last year and has been tipped for a bright future at Anfield.
The 16-year-old typically plays on the left wing and has already given the Reds a glimpse of what he could offer the first team.
Arne Slot handed Ngumoha a senior debut last season in the FA Cup third-round tie against Accrington Stanley, where Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners at Anfield.
The teenager played 72 minutes of the game, and Slot explained afterwards how Ngumoha had impressed him during training.
In an interview with Match of the Day after the win over Accrington, Slot said: "I think he [Ngumoha] showed the fans what we have seen when he has trained with us.
"It's always nice for him to show this the first time you play [at Anfield] - getting a win for him means it's a special day."
That was not the only interview where Slot was quick to praise Ngumoha.
Speaking to ITV Sport, he also identified what impressed him most about Ngumoha's performance against Accrington.
"He did well," Slot told ITV Sport.
He is good in one-v-one situations."
Slot added: "He showed a bit more in the first half than in the second half
