Even though most believe Liverpool’s transfer business is closed for the summer after the signing of Calvin Ramsay, the official departure of Sadio Mané to Bayern Munich has generated more speculation that the club are still aiming to do more business before the end of the window in August.

Klopp knows that the future of Liverpool is already at the club, and that the question of a Mané replacement has long since been sorted.

The Brazilian made 49 appearances for Real Madrid but only started in 25 of them across all competitions.

Yet Spanish outlet El Nacional state that Liverpool are just not interested in, but have already made an offer for, Real Madrid winger Rodrygo.

The arrival of Darwin Núñez was thought to mitigate the eventual sale of Mané, but according to a report from Spain, Liverpool are scanning around La Liga to find a replacement for the Senegal forward.

Mané will be very difficult to replace, given his versatility and how pivotal he was to Liverpool throughout his six years at the club.
