Liverpool hero John Aldridge insists the clash between Mohamed Salah and manager Jurgen Klopp has been overblown.

Aldridge wrote for the Liverpool Echo: "When things are down, not going well, your star player falling out with your manager is the last thing you really want to see.



Mo might have thought he should have been playing, but the manager is the manager.

"To be fair, none of the forwards have been really hitting the high notes, so it could have been any of them benched.

We're still not taking our chances and the manager has seen it the way it was and tried to change it.
