Liverpool FC has officially debuted their new 2025-26 home kit at Anfield, marking the start of a new 10-year partnership with adidas. This partnership revives a historic collaboration that previously ran from 1985 to 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012. The home kit features a classic, timeless design with a dark strawberry red base and simple white trim, moving away from last season’s geometric pinstriping. The white shield-shaped piping outlining the torso nods to past kits, especially the popular adidas home shirt from 2006-08. It is paired with matching red shorts and socks, both carrying the adidas three stripes and “LFC” branding.
The away kit takes on a more nostalgic look with an off-white or cream base accented in black and red, reminiscent of historical LFC away jerseys. A notable detail is the redesign of Liverpool’s Liver Bird crest, framed within a shield inspired by the eyebrow-shaped roof arch of Anfield’s Main Stand as it appeared in the early 1900s. Both kits also feature the “97” emblem surrounded by eternal flames, paying tribute to the club’s history.
The launch included a creative campaign featuring current players such as Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Curtis Jones, and Ceri Holland alongside club legends like Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush. Fans can purchase the new kits through official Liverpool and adidas retail outlets globally. As a special initiative, all profits from jerseys featuring Diogo Jota’s name and number on the back will be donated to the LFC Foundation charity.
