The former Liverpool forward began his coaching journey in 2017 as an assistant at amateur side Quick Boys, before progressing to manage Feyenoord’s U19 team.

Dirk Kuyt had previously been linked with a return to Anfield.
Kuyt's first league match in charge will come on August 8, when Dordrecht host Cambuur, who finished third in the previous campaign.
The former Liverpool forward retired from playing in 2018, six years after departing Anfield for Fenerbahce, having made 285 appearances over six seasons.
Beloved by fans for his relentless work ethic, Kuyt remains a familiar face in Liverpool, regularly returning to take part in the club’s annual Legends charity matches.
