Liverpool will reportedly look to strengthen in another key area while also chasing a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
Palace are said to be open to selling Guehi, who only has 12 months remaining on his current contract.
They are widely expected to lose Darwin Nunez, who is a target for newly-crowned Italian champions Napoli.

Nunez has reportedly informed Napoli that he is ready to leave Liverpool and make a fresh start in Serie A.
However, it is claimed the Italian giants are willing to bide their time in hope of reducing his £70m asking price.
The likes of Viktor Gyokeres, Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen have all been tipped to replace Nunez at Liverpool, but only time will tell if any of the trio end up moving to Anfield before the start of next season.
According to reports in Italy, the Reds could even explore the idea of a sensational double swoop for both Isak and Osimhen.
