Liverpool’s summer transfer window is shaping up to be a decisive one.

A major rebuild is clearly underway.

The right-back situation, especially, has been under the microscope with Trent Alexander-Arnold set to depart at the end of his contract.

His exit means more than just replacing a player—it means reshaping how Liverpool plays.

But it’s not just the right side that needs attention.

With Andy Robertson in his 30s and Kostas Tsimikas not fully convincing as his long-term successor, the left-back spot is also due for an upgrade.

Liverpool’s strategy seems clear: get their business done early, target young, dynamic full-backs, and remain compliant with Financial Fair Play.

And now, as we exclusively revealed that talks are progressing between Jeremie Frimpong and Liverpool, attention has shifted to the opposite flank.

CaughtOffside reports that Liverpool have made Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez their next top transfer target.

The club has already held talks with Bournemouth and are aware of the competition they face.

Chelsea, Manchester City, and even Real Madrid are all monitoring the 20-year-old Hungary international.

Despite the interest, Bournemouth have informed all parties that “Kerkez can leave for a fee in the region of £45m.”

That fee “shouldn’t prove too expensive for Liverpool,” according to the report, especially as the club is “ready to sell Kostas Tsimikas if they manage to get a deal done for Kerkez.”

The plan is one in, one out—keeping Financial Fair Play regulations in check.

From Liverpool’s perspective, Kerkez is seen as a long-term solution.

With Robertson aging and Tsimikas potentially on his way out, it’s a calculated move.

CaughtOffside adds that “LFC are confident they can remain in line with Financial Fair Play regulations.”

It’s a similar story at right-back.

Frimpong is being lined up to replace Alexander-Arnold.

“Liverpool already know that they’re losing star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold at the end of his contract this summer,” the report states, “with Frimpong close to completing his move to replace the England international.”

As for Kerkez, Chelsea and City may still try to make a late push.

“Chelsea and Man City have also had contacts over Kerkez,” but Liverpool seem determined to lead the race.
