Liverpool have reportedly identified two transfer alternatives to Marc Guehi.

The Crystal Palace defender has entered the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, but the Eagles are still holding firm on their valuation of their captain this summer.

Guehi has admirers at Liverpool but Palace's valuation of £65million, may make the Reds look elsewhere.



According to journalist David Lynch, the club has a 'clear desire' to add a young centre-back with 'room to grow' to Arne Slot's squad.

Parma's Giovanni Leoni and Wolfsburg's Konstantinos Koulierakis have reportedly been scouted by club officials.

If they cannot sign the Palace captain, Lynch explains Liverpool would 'revert to their preferred profile' at centre-back, which the aforementioned duo reportedly fit.
