Jesus Rodriguez Caraballo, a 19-year-old winger from Real Betis, is starting to draw significant attention after a promising season in Spain.

Born in November 2005, Rodriguez is a right-footed attacker who has been developing through the Betis academy and recently earned promotion to the senior setup.

He featured in 32 senior matches during the 2024–25 campaign — 21 in La Liga, 3 in the Copa del Rey, and 8 in the Conference League — contributing 3 goals and 2 assists.

According to ABC de Sevilla, both Liverpool and Aston Villa have already made contact with the player’s representatives.

The same report notes that Rodriguez currently has a €25 million release clause, but Betis are working on a new contract that could double it to €50 million.

Liverpool’s interest in Rodriguez comes at a time when questions are mounting over the future of Luis Diaz.

The Colombian winger, now 28, is contracted until 2027 but has yet to open talks over a renewal.

Barcelona have long been linked with the winger, while Al Nassr are also showing interest.
