Liverpool supporters are not the biggest fans of the international break, and you can see why after Scotland's game against Northern Ireland.

The Reds will face Brighton and Hove Albion in the first game back after the break, where a win could see them return to the top of the Premier League table.

Several players are now nearing a return for the Reds, which could act as a title-defining boost for the Liverpool boss ahead of the final few fixtures of the season.

Here, Liverpool.com gives you the latest updates and possible return dates for all the players currently injured at Anfield.

Andy Robertson

As previously noted, the 30-year-old hobbled off the pitch in the 37th minute during Scotland's 1-0 loss to Northern Ireland on Tuesday evening.

Robertson has since returned to the AXA Training Centre to undergo scans on the setback (as per the ECHO), with Liverpool hopeful that he can avoid another extended period on the sidelines.

Robertson only recently returned from a long-term shoulder injury, which was also picked up on international duty with Scotland in 2023.

Possible return date: Unknown.

Diogo Jota

One of the positives from the international break for Klopp is Portuguese forward Diogo Jota.

However, the former Wolverhampton Wanderers man is now ahead of schedule on his return and could be available for upcoming fixtures.

He will miss the Brighton fixture but could be available to face Manchester United the following weekend.

Klopp and his side will welcome this boost as they seek revenge on the Red Devils after the dramatic 4-3 defeat in the FA Cup.

Possible return dates: Manchester United (April 7).

Others

Midfielder Curtis Jones is on track to return against Brighton following an ankle injury that was picked up back in February.
