Liverpool are officially back in action on Merseyside today as they prepare for their first match at Anfield ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Liverpool are now back on home soil as they ramp up their preparations for the new season, as they look to defend their league title.

Bournemouth at home on August 15 awaits Slot and his players, but before then there are three matches still to play.

Two of them will be played on Monday against Athletic Bilbao, with Slot expected to field two different starting line-ups for the fixtures.
