The international break often seems to end with Premier League sides nursing a rash of fresh injuries, but Liverpool have managed to come out of it largely unscathed.
New British record signing Alexander Isak made his return to competitive football for the first time since May, appearing in Sweden’s 2-0 loss to Kosovo, while Conor Bradley returned from injury to appear for Northern Ireland.
Alexis Mac Allister and Ibrahima Konate have also been involved, but the question remains - when will they be able to return for Liverpool?
Here’s all the latest Liverpool injury news...
Jeremie Frimpong
After suffering a hamstring injury on his Premier League debut for Liverpool, Jeremie Frimpong could soon return to contention for the Reds.
Speaking after that fateful Bournemouth match, Arne Slot said the Dutchman would be fit to return after the international break.
He did not join up with the Netherlands for their September camp, meaning he should be fit and refreshed ahead of the Premier League’s return.

Ibrahima Konate
Ibrahima Konate gave Arne Slot cause for concern as he hobbled off against Arsenal ahead of the international break.
His fears were allayed after the Frenchman was substituted and confirmed that he had simply been dealing with cramp.
The Liverpool boss said: “He thinks it's cramp, and I have no reason to doubt him.
Though some players think it's cramp, and then scans show it's more than that, so let's wait and see.”
He started in both of France’s World Cup qualifiers during the international break, and seems to be at full fitness.

Alexis Mac Allister
Alexis Mac Allister has been nursing a niggling injury since the end of the 2024-25 season, which prevented him from participating in pre-season.
He has made two Premier League starts already this season but is yet to complete 90 minutes.
Speaking from the Argentina camp this week, Lionel Scaloni said the player was fit to start but admitted that he was “not at 100 per cent.”
As he is set to return late from international duty after Argentina face Ecuador, he could miss Saturday’s meeting with Burnley and be held for the Champions League opener against Atletico Madrid a few days later.

Alexander Isak
The great question surrounding Liverpool’s £125million man is whether or not he is match fit after spending most of pre-season on strike, attempting to force a move away from Newcastle.
He missed Sweden’s first match of the international break, a 2-2 draw with Slovenia, but appeared off the bench in a 2-0 loss to Kosovo.
The striker appeared rusty, and Slot may want him to build his fitness before making a Premier League start.
