Liverpool has rejected an approach from Bayern Munich for Luis Diaz as the Reds stand firm on their stance on the Colombian.

Diaz has been linked with a move away from Anfield throughout the summer, having also been touted for a move to Barcelona last summer.

The La Liga champion though looks to have moved on to other targets after having its own approach knocked back earlier this summer.

Bayern though has emerged as another suitor for Diaz, with the German giant looking for alternatives after failing to land Florian Wirtz, as well as a replacement for Leroy Sane, who has made the move to Galatasaray.

Their attempts to land the Liverpool No.7 though look to have failed, with The Times' Paul Joyce reporting that the Reds have once again refused to entertain an approach.

Bayern's director of sport Max Eberl is said to have made contact, but has been told the winger is not for sale.
