Milos Kerkez has become Liverpool's third major signing of the summer, arriving from Bournemouth after a £40m deal was struck.
Only now have Liverpool been able to put the finishing touches on the deal with Bournemouth as the left-back underwent a medical and signed a five-year contract at Anfield.
Prior to the Hungarian it was Florian Wirtz, the midfielder becoming the Reds' and Britain's all-time biggest signing with a £116m fee attached to his move from Bayer Leverkusen, and before him from the same club was right-back Jeremie Frimpong, with his £29.5m release clause triggered swiftly.

There was a recurring theme in Frimpong and Wirtz's announcements over the past weeks, now Kerkez's has followed suit with part of Liverpool's statement detailing that their squad numbers are all to be assigned later this summer.
Only time will tell which numbers the trio will be given with official confirmation likely to come when the club's full transfer business becomes clearer.

To that end, Jarell Quansah is shortly expected to wrap up a £35m move to Leverkusen, meaning the signing of a young centre back will be prioritised to fill the void left by the 22-year-old.
There is also constant speculation over the future of the club's No.9, Darwin Nunez, so a replacement striker may move higher on the agenda too.
So, once the bulk of business is completed these squad number decisions will be made clearer.
Liverpool also return to the AXA Training Centre for pre-season training on July 7 and their first scheduled friendly is against Preston North End on Sunday, July 13.
The new signings should be hopeful of appearing then.

After completing his move, Kerkez's first words were: "I'm really happy.
"It's a real honour for me, a privilege to come to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, [the] biggest club in England.
I'm just really, really happy and excited.
"After this, I'll go home and in my hometown enjoy a few days, and then I can't really wait to come back and put the training kit on and start to train and prepare for the season."
