Liverpool legend Graeme Souness is set to return to television screens in 2026 alongside iconic Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.
The Scot moved out of the spotlight in 2023 after his time with Sky Sports ended following 10 years of service before embarking on an emotional charity fundraising campaign.
The 72-year-old raised over £1million for DEBRA, who offer support to individuals living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), as he swam 30 miles of the English channel to increase awareness for the generative condition that attacks children's organs and development - causing one's skin to become fragile and often results in painful blisters.
Souness had a brief stint on radio station talkSPORT after his time with Sky came to an end, joining Jim White and the polarising Simon Jordan for the Monday segment of their show.
After receiving a CBE for services to football and charity in November 2024, he will now be one of the contestants on new ITV series 'The Box'.

Lineker will be the face of the programme, which will pit celebrities against each other.
Filming is set to begin this year.
The show will see 10 yellow boxes house celebrity contestants, ranging from former sportspeople to reality television stars.
They will be transported to unknown locations before being released and faced with challenges.
Each week, two players will face 'The Duel', a finale in which the loser will be booted off the show.
On Sunday, the cast was confirmed with former House of Commons speaker John Bercow joining Joey Essex, JB Gill, Danny Aarons, Jenny Ryan, Ranvir Singh, Sara Davies, Ellie Taylor and Shakira Khan.
Souness will return to the public eye for the first time since his charitable efforts and appearance at Windsor Castle to accept the honour from the Prince of Wales.
The iconic Liverpool defender fought back tears speaking in 2023 after his magnificent feat, speaking to BBC Breakfast, he said: "It is the most horrendous disease.
"If you're inflicted by it, you must wake up every morning and say 'Why me?' It is a desperate situation, and then the parents have to deal with that - and that's what we're doing."
