Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes there is a real chance that Mo Salah leaves Anfield this summer.

Souness believes that last summer, an agreement could have been made to convince Salah to remain at Anfield for one more year before saying goodbye to the club.

The former Newcastle boss reckons the ace's interest has been captured.

"I think there’s a real chance," Souness said on talkSPORT.

"There’s every chance that he’s done a deal with Liverpool last summer, with all the interest from Saudi Arabia, to give them another year.

He’s been marvellous for Liverpool, but I think he’s had his head turned(

He’s going back to his mother tongue, so at his age and with everything else, I think there’s every chance that will happen [transfer to Saudi Arabia]."
