Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina was left 'aghast' when he first arrived at the club, he has revealed in an interview.
Arriving in the aftermath of Liverpool's incredible 2005 Champions League triumph, Reina quickly made the starting spot his own.
His career since leaving Liverpool has taken him to Napoli, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Aston Villa, Lazio and most recently Villarreal.

Back in his native Spain, Reina recently spoke to La Liga World.
He reflected on joining Liverpool all those years ago, and initially being shocked by the weather as he wondered what he had done.
I spent eight wonderful years in Liverpool," Reina explained.
“[But] I spent two weeks looking at my wife and saying, "What is this?” We came from somewhere where the average temperature was 25 degrees but there, in July, it rained non-stop for two weeks.
The manner in which he ousted Champions League winner Jerzy Dudek was pretty ruthless; a year on from Istanbul, it was Reina starting the FA Cup final.
A stalwart for a long time after that, it's lucky he was able to get used to the weather!
