Liverpool are reportedly gearing up to swoop for Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi as a potential replacement for their own Jarell Quansah, who is on Bayer Leverkusen's radar.
Liverpool might be hesitant to part with Quansah this summer, but it's believed that a hefty offer in the region of 40m (£34m) could tempt them to sell.

In anticipation of such a move, Liverpool bigwigs have already identified Guehi as the ideal candidate to fill the void, according to The Mirror.
"I think the most important thing is just always doing the best that I can for this football club," Guehi remarked last year regarding his future.
So, you know, for me, the most important is just doing the best I can and seeing where the future holds."
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish and manager Oliver Glasner have both made it clear that star defender Marc Guehi is not seeking an exit.
But as long as a player doesn't come - and Marc didn't come - I am really not concerned he will leave."
Parish also reflected on Newcastle's unsuccessful bid for Guehi last summer, stating: "Nobody has got to the valuation yet.
He's a generational talent."
Since joining Palace from Chelsea in 2021, Guehi has racked up 155 appearances and was instrumental in their FA Cup triumph last season.
Liverpool, should they decide to pursue Guehi, would be adding to their already impressive summer signings, with Jeremie Frimpong arriving from Bayer Leverkusen and Florian Wirtz expected to follow suit.
