Mohamed Salah returns on the right with Cody Gakpo leading the line in favour of Darwin Nunez.

Luis Diaz has been good of late, so he continues on the left.

Ian Doyle - Gravenberch worth another go

There are just three games to go now, and pretty much everyone at Liverpool is ready for the end of the season.

But there are two more Anfield occasions under Jurgen Klopp, and today it's Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

And the Reds will want to finish with a flourish.

What, then, is the Liverpool boss to do?

Alisson Becker should stay in goal and there isn't much reason to change the defence, which means Virgil van Dijk and Jarell Quansah at centre-back, Andy Robertson left-back and Trent Alexander-Arnold right-back.

In midfield, Wataru Endo is the number six, with Alexis Mac Allister to his left and Ryan Gravenberch worth another go on the right.

Up top, though, Mohamed Salah can return on the right flank, with Cody Gakpo down the centre and Luis Diaz on the left.

Theo Squires - Gomez replaces Van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk is an injury doubt for Liverpool’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur, so with Champions League qualification already secured - and a top three finish potentially even clinched before the Reds kick a ball on Sunday - they have nothing to gain by playing the Dutchman.

He can rest up as a result, reduced to bench duty at best, with Trent Alexander-Arnold captaining the side in his absence.

Meanwhile, Jarell Quansah continues at centre-back, but rather than being partnered by the out of form Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez can get a rare opportunity in his favoured position alongside him.

Curtis Jones can come into midfield in place of Ryan Gravenberch, but the rest of the engine-room is unchanged from last weekend’s draw with West Ham.

In attack, Mohamed Salah’s touchline spat with Jurgen Klopp has been put to bed so he can return to the starting XI.

Cody Gakpo can keep his place ahead of Darwin Nunez, while Luis Diaz completes the attack.

My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Gomez, Robertson; Mac Allister, Endo, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Diaz
