Liverpool completed their seventh summer signing with the addition of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday - but their spending spree is not expected to stop there.
The Reds have recruited Ekitike, 23, for £69million plus £10m in add-ons, a deal that has taken their total expenditure to above £250m after Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez arrived earlier in the window.
Freddie Woodman, Armin Pesci and Giorgi Mamardashvili are the others to have joined Arne Slot's side.
Although the Reds have splashed the cash on several big-money players, they are set to continue spending throughout the summer ahead of the new Premier League season.
Slot is keen to strengthen in a couple more areas, as well as trimming the squad and getting the likes of Darwin Nunez out of the doors.

Despite completing the signing of Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, Liverpool have not given up on completing a record breaking deal for Newcastle United's Alexander Isak.
The ECHO's chief Liverpool writer Ian Doyle reported on Wednesday night that that the Reds are still monitoring developments of Isak and want to bring him to Anfield alongside Ekitike to create a new-look attack ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Isak would be considered by most as Arne Slot's dream signing at Liverpool but would cost in excess of £120m - a fee that would signal the second time the Reds have smashed their transfer record after Florian Wirtz arrived in a package worth around £116m earlier in the transfer window.
The Sweden international found the net 27 times in 42 appearances for Newcastle last season.
He scored against the Reds in the Carabao Cup final and helped the Magpies finish in the Champions League places.
Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon would be willing to join Liverpool as a potential replacement for Luis Diaz if all parties could agree on a deal, according to TBR Football.
Bayern Munich are desperate to sign Diaz, 28, and are planning a new and improved bid for the Colombian, after the Reds rejected their first offer believed to be in the region of £58.5million.
Should Liverpool decide to sell Diaz, they would need to sign a replacement and Gordon has been long linked with a move to Anfield, after impressing in the Premier League for several years.
Despite coming through the ranks at Everton, Gordon is a lifelong Liverpool fan and would be prepared to make the switch back to Merseyside, having come close to signing for the Reds last summer.

Newcastle are said to be looking for a massive £100million to consider the 24-year-old's departure from St James' Park.
Gordon scored nine goals and added seven assists in 42 matches last season.
