Liverpool are nearing a full agreement with Bournemouth over the signing of 21-year-old left-back Milos Kerkez.
This marks a major step forward in their summer rebuild under Arne Slot.
A fee in the region of £40 million has been agreed between the clubs, with only final details left to sort before the transfer is completed (via reports by Sky Sports).
Kerkez is ready to travel to Merseyside once everything is signed off and personal terms are not expected to pose any issue.

Kerkez has long been on Liverpool’s radar and now looks set to become the club’s latest defensive addition, following the confirmed arrival of Jeremie Frimpong.
The Hungary international made a strong impression at Bournemouth last season, scoring twice and assisting five more in 38 appearances.
Liverpool’s interest in Kerkez dates back to his AZ Alkmaar days.
It was current Reds sporting director Richard Hughes, then at Bournemouth, who signed him for the Cherries in 2023.
Earlier this week, Bournemouth signed Adrien Truffert from Rennes in a deal worth up to £14.3 million, effectively paving the way for Kerkez’s departure.
Should the move be finalised in the coming days, Kerkez would become Liverpool’s third signing of the window.
He would join Frimpong and soon-to-be-confirmed Florian Wirtz in a statement summer for the Premier League champions.
