Liverpool's preparations for the upcoming Premier League season ended in defeat as they were beaten by Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday.
First-half goals from new signings Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong had the Reds 2-1 up at half-time, but a late leveller from Ismaila Sarr took the game to penalties.
And, after Mohamed Salah, Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott missed their spot-kicks, Justin Devenny thrashed his effort past Alisson Becker to secure the victory for Palace.

Florian Plettenberg claims Liverpool are "seriously considering" a chase for Parma defender Giovanni Leoni if they fail to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.
Writing on X (was Twitter), Plettenberg said of the 18-year-old: "As revealed four days ago, Liverpool are seriously considering talented 18 y/o promising centre-back Giovanni Leoni.
"He is high on the list.
Should a move for Marc Guehi fall through, it is possible Liverpool will push for Leoni.

"Several top Italian clubs are keen on him, but Liverpool are advancing in the background."
Leoni has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, who are now managed by his former coach, Cristian Chivu.
The 18-year-old has made 17 appearances in Serie A and has four years remaining on his current deal at Parma.
Newcastle United will, reportedly, be "willing" to accept an offer of £130million plus add-ons for wantaway striker Alexander Isak.
The 25-year-old has been the subject of interest from Liverpool this summer, with the Premier League champions having a bid of £110million rejected earlier this month.
However, Lee Ryder from Chronicle Live believes a deal could be agreed for Isak to move to Liverpool if the Reds submit an offer of £130million.
Writing on Monday, Ryder said: "Newcastle are also yet to get an increased offer for Isak - with their last bid from Liverpool coming on August 1 from the Reds.
"That offer, worth around £110m, was swiftly rejected.
"What must follow is a heftier bid - there has been talk of £150m, but others on the agent circuit have suggested that £130m plus add-ons may yet offer a breakthrough.
Either way, Isak has been handed an ultimatum, no serious offer - no transfer.

"Until then the door is ajar for Isak to get his boots on and train in the build-up to Villa Park and play again for the black-and-whites, something he's shown no interest in doing this pre-season."
