Van Bronckhorst brings both class and character to Merseyside.
A product of Feyenoord’s academy, he enjoyed a rich playing career that saw him shine for Rangers, Arsenal, and Barcelona — where he won the Champions League in 2006.
He stepped into coaching soon after retirement, taking charge at Feyenoord and winning the Eredivisie in 2016/17.
He later managed Rangers, even leading them to the Europa League final in 2022.
More recently, he’s had spells in China and Turkey — but now it’s the Premier League calling.
His addition reflects Slot’s desire for a strong, experienced staff as Liverpool aims to build on their recent success.
With pre-season kicking off on July 8, the Dutchman joins at just the right time.
