The right-back missed their title-winning game against Tottenham last weekend following a knock in training and further doubts emerged when he missed Wednesday’s training session at Kirkby.
With Bradley seen as the successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is expected to leave for Real Madrid in the summer, the Castlederg man has come under scrutiny recently for his injury record.
This is the fourth time he has been ruled out this season and, while there are no concerns over his talent on the pitch, Liverpool fans are starting to worry about whether he can be relied upon to stay fit.
But Slot has moved to allay fears that Bradley is set for another long-term spell on the sidelines, revealing the 21-year-old should be available for their trip to Stamford Bridge.
"He will train with us today and that's the first step,” explained the Dutchman.
“We expect him to be available, I don't know if that means he is available to start, but if all goes well today and tomorrow, he will probably back in the squad."
Bradley’s longest absence came when he had to sit out almost two months between February and April with a hamstring injury, a recurrence of a problem he originally had in December.
The former Dungannon Swifts man returned on April 6, featuring in the defeat to Fulham, and then started back-to-back games against West Ham and Leicester prior to his latest knock.
Even if Bradley returns on Sunday it seems likely that Alexander-Arnold will start against Chelsea, although Slot did not give any further update on the England international’s future at his midweek press briefing.
