Liverpool stole the thunder of Manchester City both before and during the FA Cup after it was announced Conor Bradley had signed a new contract, and Jeremie Frimpong was set to 'undergo a medical' to join the Reds.
While City lost 1-0 at Wembley to Crystal Palace, Liverpool made two huge moves that could be pivotal both in the 2025/26 season, and for their future moving forward.

However, Bradley will now have to face the challenge of Frimpong for a spot in Liverpool's starting XI.
On Saturday, it was reported the Reds will activate the Bayer Leverkusen full-back's release fee clause which is worth $39.3 million (£29.6m/€35m), with Frimpong set to undergo a medical ahead of signing a 5-year-deal with Liverpool.
