Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and his partner have released a new family update.

The 23-year-old is yet to feature competitively for Arne Slot's side in 2025/26 having played an integral role in winning the Premier League title last term.

Gravenberch was arguably the surprise package of last season as he excelled in a defensive midfield role, playing in 37 of 38 Premier League matches in Slot's first season at Anfield.

He then served a suspension that carried over from last season for last Friday's league opener vs Bournemouth.

This allowed Gravenberch to devote more time to his growing family - and now he and Peroti have shared their first social media update since welcoming their child into the world.

"Our little miracle has arrived [white heart emoji]," the couple captioned a shared post to Instagram on Monday night.

The heartwarming update has received plenty of attention from Liverpool teammates, their partners and other members of the football community.

Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai all commented heart eye emojis below the post.

The Hungarian in particular knows the joy of such a family milestone having welcomed his first child with wife Borka Buszik earlier this summer.

Another new father amongst the Liverpool squad as of last October, Curtis Jones, also commented the heart emoji on Gravenberch's post.

His fiance Saffie Khan added: "Perfect [pink heart emoji]."

Cody Gakpo liked the post whilst his partner Noa van der Bij commented a pink heart emoji.

Also showing their support by liking the midfielder and his partner's post were Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Stefan Bajcetic, Jeremie Frimpong, Andy Robertson, Vitezslav Jaros, Milos Kerkez, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Ibrahima Konate and James McConnell.

Fellow Dutch internationals - past and present - who interacted with the Gravenberch family update were former Liverpool pair Ryan Babel and Gini Wijnaldum as well as Jorrel Hato, Noa Lang and Justin Kluivert.

Gravenberch will have to wait another week until he is able to see his first action of the new campaign, but he has at least served his one-game ban and can return to the Liverpool squad for the upcoming trip to Newcastle United.
