Ryan Gravenberch is set to be offered a new Liverpool contract imminently according to reports.

The Dutch international has been a standout performer for Arne Slot this term, carrying over his performances from last season.

The 23-year-old has already racked up two goals in four Premier League appearances, including a wonderful strike at the weekend’s Merseyside derby.

And it looks like Liverpool want to understandably keep their hands on the player.

Alex Crook of talkSPORT has reported that the Reds midfielder is in line for a new “long-term deal” at Anfield:

“Liverpool is ready to reward man-of-the-moment Ryan Gravenberch with a new long-term deal,” he wrote

“Gravenberch, who only turned 23 in May and who cost a bargain £35m from Bayern Munich, is under contract until the summer of 2028.

“While the need to tie him down is not urgent, any extension would be a reflection of his importance to the team.”
