Arne Slot plans to replace Jarell Quansah with Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi at Liverpool.
With the Frenchman in the last year of his contract and Quansah joining Leverkusen for £35m, the Reds need reinforcement.
According to Express, Liverpool are planning to move swiftly for Palace star defender Guehi now that Quansah has joined Leverkusen.
Guehi has played a pivotal role for Palace in their FA Cup triumph last season and enjoyed a steep rise.
The Guardian reported that Palace are demanding around £65m for the Englishman, but Liverpool would ask for a price reduction.
Considering that Guehi has only one year remaining in his current contract, Palace are in a peculiar situation not to end up alienating their loyal star.
