The transfer window is now officially closed, and what a summer it has been for Liverpool.

Having secured a 20th league title in Arne Slot’s first season in charge, the Reds have wasted no time in making hay while the sun is shining, having gone big with its business over the last few months.

That is certainly a large figure for a club that has made a habit of coming out with in the positive over the years, although even after going big this summer, the Reds still aren’t far off some of their rivals.

In fact, they still beat Arsenal in that department, with the Gunners having spent around $343.48M on transfers this summer, while only securing $12.87M in departures, giving Mikel Arteta’s side a net spend of $330.61M.

Manchester City has been a little more frugal compared to recent windows, having spent around $207.02M and made $68.46M from departures, leaving a net spend of $138.56M

Chelsea has once again been busy with both incomings and outgoings, having spent $381.33M and made $369.51, leaving it with a net spend of just $11.82M.

Despite a dismal 15th-place finish and no European football this season, Manchester United has once again been splashing the cash

Ruben Amorim’s side has spent $268.81M on signings, while making $54.07M in sales, leaving it with a net spend of $214.74M.

And the final member of the traditional big six has also been pretty busy this summer, with Tottenham having spent $246.46M on new signings, while making $41.54M back on player sales, leaving it with a net spend of $204.92M.
