Jurgen Klopp confirmed Fabinho will miss the FA Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea, though insisted he’ll “definitely” be back for the Champions League final.
Liverpool and Chelsea contested the Carabao Cup final in February with Klopp’s side emerging victorious that day.
The Reds battle the Blues for the second time at Wembley this season on Saturday.
“He will definitely be back for the Champions League final,” Klopp said in his pre-match press conference (via the Liverpool Echo).
They have a similar system to others but a different level.”
Tomorrow will mark the first FA Cup final Liverpool have reached under Jurgen Klopp and the club’s first since 2012.
However, Klopp was adamant he’ll be fit to face Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 28.
When pressed for what he expects from Thomas Tuchel’s side, Klopp added: “It’s a completely different game.
