What a night it was as the Champions League returned to Anfield on Tuesday, with Liverpool once again leaving it late to overcome Atletico Madrid.
It looked as though the Reds would have to settle for a point from their opening league phase game after Marcos Llorente scored yet another double on Merseyside to bring the visitors back level after the Reds had raced into the lead through Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah.
Yet again though, Liverpool managed to find a way, with captain Virgil van Dijk stepping up to head home in injury time and cap off another famous European night at Anfield.
One man who didn't enjoy the defender's winner though was Diego Simeone, who was seen clashing with Liverpool fans behind him before being sent off, with the Atletico boss slamming the supporters afterwards.
Arne Slot won't be too concerned about that though, with the Reds' head coach no doubt pleased with what he saw from debutant Alexander Isak - although he will have a big decision to make now on his new striker ahead of Saturday's Merseyside derby.
