Liverpool are undergoing plenty of change within the club’s youth ranks this summer.
The Reds have had a decent success rate at bringing through young players over recent years, but are going to do so under new leadership in 2025/26.
After many years in charge, both Barry Lewtas and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, U21 and U18 coaches respectively, have left their roles at the Liverpool academy.
Whether this prompts a shift in approach remains to be seen, but it could provide Liverpool with an exciting new set-up.
In the meantime, there tends to be plenty of churn at the end of each campaign as some players move on having failed to make the grade.
Others will leave having been poached from elsewhere.
And, unfortunately for Liverpool, they have seen Manchester City swoop in to take a promising young player from them, with another also set to leave.
