Liverpool have been handed a potential boost in their quest to sign Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
The Cherries left-back has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield over the last few months.
Kerkez is thought to be valued at around £45million by Bournemouth amid interest from Liverpool.
The ECHO reported in March that the Reds had placed Kerkez on their shortlist of targets for the summer, but the Hungary international is not the only player under consideration.
The summer transfer window is open with Liverpool already strengthening their full-back options with the arrival of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
At left-back, Kerkez's name continues to be mentioned as the likely new signing for the Reds.

However, there is currently no sign of a deal being agreed despite various reports suggesting a move for Kerkez is close to being finalised.
With that being said, it seems that Bournemouth are already preparing for Kerkez's potential departure.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has reported that Bournemouth have made an effort to sign Rennes defender Adrien Truffert.
The report claims the Cherries have made an offer for the left-back as they look to fill the void made by Kerkez's potential departure.

However, the report claims that Rennes have rejected the bid from Bournemouth, although it has not been stated what exact fee the Ligue 1 club have turned down.
This update follows on from a report last week, which stated that Bournemouth had identified Marseille defender Quentin Merlin as a potential replacement for Kerkez.
The report on Tuesday means that two left-backs have now been linked with the Cherries, seemingly hinting that the club do not expect to have Kerkez on their books for next season.
