Alexander Isak is still being linked with Liverpool.

Liverpool have boosted their transfer funds ahead of a second potential bid for Alexander Isak.

The Reds have confirmed that Tyler Morton has joined Lyon in a deal worth up to £15million.

The defensive midfielder had been with his hometown club for 16 years.

He impressed for England Under-21s during their European Championship win this summer though, sparking an approach from the Ligue 1 side.

The move for the 22-year-old will only serve to help Arne Slot in his pursuit of Isak.

The Reds have thus far refused to match that demand, but having reportedly unsettled the striker, they now have £15m more to play with.
