Liverpool Football Club have had one hell of a summer transfer window.

It’s arguably the greatest transfer window in the history of the English Premier League.

The Reds spent £446m this window, which is the most by an English side in history.

Chelsea set the previous record in 2023 when they spent £434.5m.

One of the reasons that Liverpool were able to spend so much is because of the way that the club is run.

It’s arguable that Liverpool are the best run club in world football today.

Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have overseen an immense level of success since they took over the club.

Such has been the success that FSG have been looking to buy the likes of Getafe in LaLiga as they look to replicate their success with other clubs.

One of the hallmarks of the success for the club is based on the personnel that they’ve brought in to oversee the path that the club is on.

Ever since FSG brought back Michael Edwards, it did so with a clear idea that he was the right man to lead the club forward.

And it’s proven to be right so far.

But it seems as though the changes to the structure of the club are not stopping and more changes are being made to take Liverpool to bigger and better things.

Liverpool Football Club have officially confirmed on their website that there are two new additions to the clubs board of directors.

Jenny Beacham, the clubs current chief financial officer, and Jonathan Bamber, current chief legal and external affairs officer, have joined the board.

In a historic move, Beacham is the first woman to join the board under FSG’s stewardship.

Managing director Andy Hughes and CEO Billy Hogan will be coming off the board, with Hogan remaining CEO of the club and of Fenway Sports Group International.

The Liverpool board of directors are now John W

Henry (principal owner), Tom Werner (chairman), Mike Gordon (president), Mike Egan (director), Jonathan Bamber (chief legal and external affairs officer), Jenny Beacham (chief financial officer) and Sir Kenny Dalglish (non-executive director).

If these individuals can build on the success that the club has had in the last 5-10 years, then Liverpool should have a prosperous future for many a year to come.
