Arne Slot would have been delighted that most of his summer signings could be bed in during this tour
However, the women’s side are also making moves in the transfer market.

The 24-year-old becomes the club’s fourth new arrival of a busy summer window and immediately fills the vacancy created when vice-captain Taylor Hinds departed for Arsenal earlier this month.
Liverpool confirmed Woodham’s switch on Monday afternoon, just 43 days before the Reds open their 2025-26 Women’s Super League campaign with a Merseyside derby at Anfield
The former Reading captain joins on a free transfer after mutually terminating her NWSL contract last week, allowing her to realise a childhood dream of playing for the club she supports
“It’s amazing.
Obviously I’m a fan of Liverpool, so it’s a dream come true really,” she told Liverpoolfc.com after signing her contract at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
“I’m really excited to meet everyone?
It already feels like a home from home and everyone has been so nice to me and welcomed me.”
“I just want to bring everything I can to the team and always give my all in games and training.”
Before joining Reign in the United States at the start of 2024, Woodham amassed experience with Bristol City, Reading and spent time on loan at Charlton Athletic.
Since her senior Wales debut in 2020, the left-back has collected over 40 international caps and featured in the starting lineup for all three of her country’s matches at Women’s Euro 2025 earlier this summer.
Her official Liverpool squad number will be announced soon.
